Congratulations to Namwamba, Ole Metito and Otuoma for Their Respective Appointments

20 Sep

Congratulations to Hon. Ababu Namwamba, Katoo Ole Metito and Paul Otuoma for their appointment as Ministers for Youth & Sports, Internal Security and Local Government, respectfully.

President Kibaki must be commended, too, for appointing a non-controversial or partisan hack to the all-important security docket.

Ditto for Raila in making sure MM is even more irrelevant politically speaking.

While no one can seriously think or argue that any of these ministers, except for Metito, will accomplish anything of substance before their terms expire in March, the appointments are clearly politically significant in that both principals are maximizing the power of incumbency to their political goals and objectives.

Stop you hate speech and propaganda to aid the dwindling fortunes of your master Raila. Your article in the star today is full of errors and hate. You cant claim to know more about what is happening in Kenya from US. What illegality is there for Kibaki to delegate some government duties to DPM Musalia Mudavadi. It is also erroneous for you to say that Mudavadi’s position as DPM is illegal. I invite you to critically read the national accord to understand the truth. You are many the many kenyans in diaspora who make decisions based on propaganda the read in newspapers. I am an ODM member but i support Mudavadi for presidency. Your sustained hate and propaganda against this gentleman will only create more votes for Mudavadi and not Raila. In fact Raila political tactics for Western Province are bound to fail because he is using a hammer to fight a fly. For instance, he appointed two ministers from Busia in the false hope of trying to retain the dwindling support in the only remaining county in western. In Bukura, he used the perennial parliamentary candidate to contest for a civic seat so that ODM can use the civic seat win as a propaganda item. Luhyas are reading through all his schemes and they know they have not benefitted from Raila Mkate nusu in any way. Cabinet posts will not help him, infact the beneficiaries of those slots are very weak on the ground. I come from Busia and i can give you free advice. Please direct your anger elsewhere and dont be obsessed by Mudavadi’s candidate. Mudavadi will either make or break your master – Raila. Please tread carefully.

Kindly either try and understand the meaning of the word “hate” or just don’t use it for the sake of using it as you have here with no connection with facts.

I don’t have it in me to hate anyone, let alone Mudavadi who I have met on many occasions and think is a good man but is weak and ineffective as a leader.

Everything stated in the Open Letter to President Kibaki which I have also posted on this blog is both legally and factually accurate there is no need to elaborate.

You are also obviously wrong in what you say about Raila and his prospects in Western.

I know this not based on my own analysis of the situation on the ground but our cows and their offspring are gracing in that area and those taking care of them tell me the same thing.
